The battle against abortion is a spiritual battle. We know that prayer is the foundation of all Christian work and a powerful weapon against abortion. It is the backbone of all our efforts, which fortifies the work of our staff, volunteers, and supporters.
Eucharistic Adoration is the center of our prayer life and the work that we do at our centers. Our St. Jude Chapel, located in our Chicago Cicero office, is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are blessed to have "prayer warriors" offering an unbroken chain of petition and prayer - 8,760 hours a year - for an end to abortion and for the success of our daily efforts in the battle for life.
In addition to Perpetual Adoration, daily Mass is offered at our St. Jude Chapel at 12:00 noon Monday-Friday and at 6:00 p.m. Friday.
If you're interested in becoming a regular adorer and a prayer warrior for life, please contact us today for more information.
Friday Night Prayer Vigil
More abortions are performed on Saturdays than any other day of the week. For this reason, we gather every Friday evening and overnight at our St. Jude Chapel to pray for moms who are seeking to abort their babies the very next day. The evening begins with Mass at 6:00 p.m., followed by prayer for our priests until 10:00 p.m. Silent and vocal prayer continues throughout the night in the chapel.
Novena Mass for Life – Every 2nd Saturday of the Month
In our effort to help end abortion in the Chicagoland area, our prayer warriors gather for Mass at our St. Jude Chapel every 2nd Saturday of the month at 7:00 a.m., followed by a prayer vigil outside a local abortion clinic. We welcome others in the community to join us in this effort.
